Fishing is available on-site throughout the year but if you prefer there are several golf courses in the area as well as famous walks with both the Liberty Trail and Parrett Trail running through the village.
Surrounding towns such as Yeovil, Dorchester, Sherborne, Beaminster, Crewkerne and Bridport and Lyme Regis with its stunning coastline are well worth a visit for their historic and architectural importance.
